Dunny is a beautiful, calm, well mannered, and well-gaited stallion that is homozygous for the Dun gene. All of his offspring have been Dun of some color. He is a red carrier as well so he can produce any variation of dun-colored foal depending on the mare. He has excellent breeding and his foals inherit his calm and friendly disposition as well as his smooth as silk gaits. He is 14.3hh and wonderful under saddle. We purchased Dunny after breeding one of our mares to him and buying another mare in foal to him. The colt he produced was so gorgeous, sweet, and naturally gaited that we could not resist purchasing his sire. When we rode Dunny for the first time he had not been ridden in months.  He was so calm and easy going.  At one point Dunny stepped into a concealed irrigation ditch and sunk into the water and mud past his knee.  He calmly stood there and thought about it for a second then stepped out of the ditch.    Dunny is not a reactor, he’s a thinker and he passes on his easy-going nature to his foals.  His foals are all showing a natural foxtrot at birth, easy to handle, smart, and beautifully colored.  Dunny has excellent bloodlines with foundation champions in his pedigree such as Southern Sunrise, Missouri Traveler, Black Cloud C, and Zane Grey to name a few.
